While business takes place between companies, service takes place between people.

Techsys Business Solutions

Our Approach

Our engagement process begins with the problem not the proposal. We understand that our success is directly proportional to our ability to understand your needs. This one statement is central to our philosophy as an organization —We deliver solutions based on your needs and only on your needs.

It stands to reason, then, that we need to spend some time with you to understand those needs. We come to you simply as an unbiased solution provider not a software seller. Frankly, at the discovery stage, we are seldom sure what solution we will recommend. Our engagement process helps ensure that we identify the causes most central to your concerns and recommend solutions bringing you the greatest return on investment. We begin with a three-step Needs Discovery Process that shapes our recommendations.

Step 1: Roundtable Discussion

You want your voice heard. Therefore, we bring our most senior people to meet your stakeholders, discuss business objectives, and prioritize business goals. In this open forum, we collect information about what works, what could work better, and what does not seem to work at all. From these discussions we clarify areas of need and recommend any Business Solution Discovery Proposals that would solve the business problem. Even at this early stage, we deliver a summary of our findings. (1 to 8 hours).

Deliverable:
The Opportunity Summary defines the business problem for all stakeholders to review as well as the general direction and options for resolving your problem.

Step 2: Solution Discovery

You want us to clearly understand the variables that impact your problem area. Only then can we target the right solutions where they will have the greatest impact. That’s why we send one of our senior architects to work with you for one or two days to uncover all the information needed to make informed decisions. Our quantitative discovery findings let stakeholders see clearly the recommended strategies and solutions that best solve the problem. (8 to 16 hours).

Deliverable:
The Discovery Findings document summarizes what our architect learned during the Solution Discovery process. It restates your goals and objectives, outlines possible approaches to solving your problem, and identifies any areas requiring additional analysis or definition.

Step 3: Delivery Roadmap

You want everyone on the same path to success. Therefore, we create a TECHSYS ROADMAP that details our specific plan of action encompassing some or all of the elements assessed in Step 2. The TECHSYS ROADMAP summarizes information from all three steps in our engagement process so that you can distribute it with confidence to the stakeholders in your organization. (2 to 8 hours)

Deliverable:
The Solution Proposal outlines project tasks, resource types, estimated costs, and a prioritized schedule. The proposal reflects our commitment to deliver the greatest business value in the shortest possible time. And when we think that the best solution can be provided by another company, we say so.
